Fundraisers
• A spaghetti dinner will be from 1 to 5 p.m. May 3 at Elks Lodge 103, 260 Connelly Blvd., Sharon.
Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children.
Proceeds will benefit the Greater Pennsylvania Super Kids Race.
The Greater Pennsylvania Super Kids Race is set for June 27 on State Street in Sharon.
• The Trumbull County Federation of Sportsmen’s Club, in conjunction with Whitetails Unlimited and the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau, will hold its 8th annual 60 Plus Gun Raffle from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 2 at Yankee Lake Ballroom in Brookfield. Doors open at 10 a.m. with the drawings commencing promptly at 11 a.m.
For a small donation, sportsmen and women will receive a ticket to the event, which will qualify them to be eligible to win one of several prizes, including a quality firearm. There will be at least 60 firearms to raffle off with one pulled every five minutes throughout the event. The ticket will also include a buffet luncheon and beverages. Winners do not need to be present.
The Trumbull County Federation of Sportsmen’s Club is made up of 17 sportsmen’s clubs throughout the county. Proceeds from the event will help support local, non-profit charities as well as provide funding for firearm safety and educational classes for our youth sportsmen.

• A homemade cavatelli and lasagna dinner is set for noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Fatima Hall, 1225 Union St., Farrell. There will also be a homemade bake sale.
The dinner, sponsored by Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, includes two meatballs, salad, homemade bread, dessert and beverage.
Cost is $9. Takeouts available and tickets will be sold at the door.
• Good used clothing sale is being held at Hickory United Methodist Church, 240 N. Hermitage Road, next to the Shenango Valley Mall, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday; and 9 to 11:30 a.m. May 2. Bargain day is May 2 and will be $1 per bag.

• Burghill-Vernon Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is having a Chinese auction May 3. Doors open at 1 p.m. and drawing starts at 3 p.m.
There will be great prizes. Kitchen open.
Admission is $3 and includes beverage and cupcake. Bring a friend.
• The Friends of the Library, Community Library of the Shenango Valley, will hold their book sale May 6-9 in the lower level of the library. Hours are: 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 6; 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 7; and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 8-9.
The library is located at East State Street at Sharpsville Avenue in Sharon.
• A benefit spaghetti dinner and bake sale for Sandy Hartman to help defray medical expenses for cancer treatment is set for 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 2 in Kinsman Presbyterian Church.
Menu includes salad and bread and butter.

• Jerusalem Christian Church, 560 Donation Road, Greenville, is having a free community spaghetti dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. May 2.

• The Women’s Ministry of Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 805 Vernon Road, Greenville, present their annual spring mother/daughter banquet at 6:30 p.m. May 12.
