• Club Pet Adoption’s second annual pasta dinner and Chinese auction is today, Sept. 14, at Sharon American Legion Post 299. Dinner will be served from 2 to 6 p.m. and drawings begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children younger than age 12. Tickets available at the door.

• An ice cream sundae fundraiser to benefit Strayhaven Animal Shelter in Hempfield Township is set for 1 to 4 p.m. today, Sept. 14, in Greenville’s Central Park. Tickets will be sold at the event.
