Fundraisers
• Clark Volunteer Fire Co.’s Second Annual Off ‘N Runnin’ Poker Run is Saturday. The ride begins with registration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Clark House, Clark. Stops include The Draft House Pub and Grille, Slippery Rock; The Ranch, Ellwood City; The Pitt Stop Pub, Mercer; and then back to The Clark House for a roasted chicken dinner at 5 p.m. All wheels are welcome. Cost is $15 a person. T-shirts will be fiven to the first 50 registered riders. Additional T-shirts will be available for purchase. Prizes for best and worst poker hand will be awarded. A separate raffle for $500, $200, and $50 prizes will be held, along with a Chinese auction. Disc Jockey Tracy will entertain during the afternoon and The Gordon James Band will perform from 5 to 9 p.m. The fundraiser benefits the Clark VFD. • Team Courage Juvenile Diabetes Foundation is sponsoring a benefit to help fund research and raise money to send local children to diabetes camps. The fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Mercer County Shrine Club picnic grounds, Lamor Road, Hermitage. There will be meats, food, beverages, children’s games, entertainment and a huge Chinese auction. Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for kids ages 4 to 12. Info: 724-962-0881.

• Shenango Valley Sashayers Western Square Dance Club holds a plus dance at 8 p.m. Friday at the Salvation Army, Fisher Hill and Hall Avenue, Sharon. Rodney Spencer will be the caller.
