Seniors for Safe Driving programs for Mercer County residents are scheduled for April and May.
Pennsylvania law mandates that drivers ages 55 and older who complete the course receive a discount of at least 5 percent on their auto insurance, each year for three years. Some new, some updated and some refresher safe-driving instruction is provided to help seniors drive safely for several more years. Tips from more than 100 years of AAA and national driving safety organizations’ experience are included. No classroom or road testing is involved. Cost is $14.
