SHARON — Julie Petricko of Bridgewater, Pa., and James Groscost of Midland, Pa., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Lyn Groscost, to Kenneth Leslie Strader Jr., son of Kenneth “Les” and Joann Strader, of Greenville.

Erica, 26, is a 2002 graduate of Hopewell Area High School, Aliquippa. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and science from Penn State University in 2006 and earned her masters of science degree in instructional leadership from Robert Morris University in 2008. Erica also holds Pennsylvania and Ohio secondary teaching certificates in English and communication.

Ken, 27, is a 2001 graduate of Greenville High School. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in multi-media design from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, in 2005 where he also pitched on Duquesne’s Division I baseball team. Ken manages the Lowes Home Improvement Co. store in Marysville, Ohio.

The couple will wed Dec. 31, 2010, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Robinson Township, Allegheny County. A reception will follow at Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, Pa. The couple live in Columbus, Ohio.
