The Herald

SHARON — Kathryn Davidson and Jeffrey Zaremba were married Aug. 7, 2010, at Mission Bay Park, San Diego, Calif., by the Rev. Leland B. Jones.

The bride is a daughter of John and Andrea Davidson, Hermitage.

Parents of the bridegroom are Donald Zaremba and Patricia Duffy, both of Hollis, N.H.

Grandparents of the bride are Joseph and Rita Nowak, Wexford, and Thelma Davidson, Sharpsville. Grandparents of the groom are Rosemary and Angelo Sticca and Anthony and Janet Zaremba, all of New York.

Maid of honor was Laura Davidson, bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Kristen Gantler, Justine Mumaw, and Deanna Green.

Chris Zaremba, groom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Josh Kamins, Adam Young, and John Davidson.

Readers were Andrea Davidson, mother of the bride, and Patricia Duffy, mother of the groom. Music for the ceremony was provided by Rick and Maya Hill and John Davidson, bride’s brother.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Bay Ballroom of Bahia Resort and Hotel, San Diego.

After a honeymoon to Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the newlyweds live in San Diego.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School, Hermitage, and the University of Pennsylvania with bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and linguistics. She is a doctoral student in linguistics at the University of California – San Diego in La Jolla, Calif.

Her husband is a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School, Nashua, N.H., and the University of Pennsylvania with bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and physics. He is a research technician at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute in La Jolla.
