SHENANGO VALLEY — The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2009 Phoenix Award recipients.
According to Webster�s Dictionary, Phoenix is defined as �A person or thing of unsurpassed excellence or beauty,� said Deanne Rose, the chamber�s marketing and membership coordinator
�We are proud to recognize these area businesses with such a great award. Not only are they a great part of the Chamber but they are also a great part of the community,�� she said.� �
The recipients and their categories for the Fifth Annual Phoenix Awards are:

� Crosstex International, Inc. � Growth-Small Manufacturing
� Dean Dairy Products, Inc. � Growth-Large Manufacturing
� Buhl Mansion Guesthouse & Spa � Growth-Small Service
� Wallace & Pancher, Inc. � Growth-Large Service
� Community Action Partnership of Mercer County � Non-Profit/Service Organization
� Avalon Golf & Country Club at Buhl Park � Beautification (Community Pride).
The award ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m. May 21 at The Corinthian in downtown Sharon. Guests will be welcomed with an elegant hors d�oeuvre reception to be followed by the awards program.
