The tattered roadside sign reflects the story of the failed Born2Run sports complex on Route 208 west of the outlet mall. Though successful in booking youth sports camps when it opened four years ago, the developer ran out of money and was forced to close. The site includes athletic fields, a gymnasium, a hockey rink and other buildings, some never finished.
