Three hours after the learn-to-curl night began, hundreds were still lining the halls and lobby of the Robert Morris University ice arena waiting for a chance to curl. The two Pittsburgh learn-to-curl weekends attracted 368 participants the first night and 561 this night, eclipsing the 300 total who showed up four years ago during the last winter Olympics.
