Mr. and Mrs. Edmund C. Benton, 3330 McConnell Road, Hermitage, will celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Benton and the former Wilma Arbanas were married Jan. 31, 1959, in Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ, Greenville, by the Rev. Dr. Paul Schumacher.
Mr. Benton retired in 1991 from the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., with 40 years of service.
Mrs. Benton was formerly a secretary in Washington, D.C., Cleveland, and Greenville.
The honorees are active members of the United Church of Christ, Hermitage.
Their children and spouses Kim Ayn and David Crawford, Elkridge, Md.; Karen C. and Michael Quint, Laurel, Md.; and Lyn E. Williams, Newton Falls, Ohio.
A grandson completes the family.
