Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cain Jr., 513 Fruit Ave., Farrell, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party, given by their children, with friends and family. The couple are also planning a getaway excursion soon.
The former Catherine E. White and Cain were married Oct. 25, 1958, in Morris Chapel Church by Minister Moses Wright Jr.
Cain is retired from Penn State University, Sharon.
Their children are Allen Cain III, Sharon; Arlene A. Cain, Pittsburgh; Patricia A. Cain, Farrell; and Michael C. Cain and Anthony Cain, both Sharon.
Five grandchildren and a great-grandchild complete the family.
